Spatiotemporal Innovation Workshop on Social Media Sentiment Analysis
Spatiotemporal Innovation Workshop on Social Media Sentiment Analysis
Spatiotemporal Innovation Lab for Big Data is an affiliate lab of the Future Data Lab. The lab aims to develop spatiotemporal methods which are repeatable, replicable, and scalable for worldwide research collaboration on big data analysis. Co-sponsored by the Spatial Data Lab (http://spatialdatalab.org) and Spatiotemporal Innovation Lab for Big Data, this workshop will focus on sentiment analysis in social media.
Requirement: The hands-on training workshop is free to apply and the number of participants is limited to 15 people. It is desirable that those applicants have some background in geographic analysis. Each participant is expected to complete a group project. Those who complete the course and participate in the group project will receive a certificate. Those outstanding students will be invited to join the research team of the Spatiotemporal Innovation Lab for Big Data.
